The Pedigree

The Sire

Cool Aza Beel was the standout juvenile of his year — winning four of six starts including the Group 1 Sistema Stakes and the Karaka Million 2YO.

Cool Aza Beel has made an impressive start at stud, with first-crop juvenile stakes winners already in the record books, including Group 1 winner Cool Archie, as well as a Listed placegetter and three individual Metropolitan winners from only 21 runners in his first season.

The Dam

Cross Stitch, by Pins, is a Sydney Metropolitan-winning mare. A full sister to stakes placegetter Splitsecond and closely related to stakes winner Tabata.

Physical Notes

A strong, well-balanced colt with all the hallmarks of a sharp two-year-old. He was a standout purchase of the year — my pick of the sale — and pairs athleticism with a terrific attitude and professional mindset.

Progress Notes

This colt is currently in work at our Eagle Farm stable. He has already completed even-time galloping and barrier education, showing nice progress with each step.

He’s a quick learner who handles his work well, taking everything in his stride with a professional attitude. He had a jumpout late-January and will be ready to head to the races this preparation.
