The Pedigree

The Sire

Zousain is a Group-winning, Group 1-placed son of champion sire Zoustar, renowned for his explosive speed and elite juvenile form. A precocious colt with a powerful physique and sharp turn of foot, he was runner-up in three Group 1s against some of the best of his generation.

One of the headline second season sires, producer of stakes winners Amelita, Bellazaine and Drifting; as well as stakes placegetters Zouna (ran second in the Sires Produce behind Broadsiding) and Chateau Miraval - Zousain is showing to have the knack of producing a good filly.

The Dam

This quality filly is out of a Magic Albert mare and hails from one of Australia’s most precocious and valuable families — her dam a half-sister to Champion 2YO and 3YO filly Yankee Rose, as well as Miravalle and Great Dansaar (dam of star sprinter Isotope).

It’s a pedigree that exudes two-year-old talent, with the added bonus of outstanding residual value for a future broodmare career.
